The Original City Tour

Flashy Price-Board Design

ILLUSTRATION / LAYOUT / TYPOGRAPHY / MICRO-BRANDING

  • In Krakow’s competitive city-center sightseeing market, vendors rely on hand-held price boards to catch the attention of passersby and close deals on the spot. However, most boards are homemade and uninspired, presenting an opportunity to create a standout, professionally designed pricing board—one that grabs attention, engages with the audience and clearly communicates the offer.

  • Art Direction and Design

  • I designed a bold, eye-catching price board with a bright yellow front to grab attention and spark curiosity. It features engaging illustrations, clear typography, tour language flags, and icons highlighting key service features. The back uses color-coded routes to support live explanations and visually map out tour options. To replace the flimsy, home-printed look, we selected matte vinyl over 5mm PVC—durable, weatherproof, and professional. I also recommended matching t-shirts and business cards to build trust and drive follow-up bookings.

    • 11%+ increase in sales compared to the previous season

    • Boosted employee morale, leading to stronger work engagement

    • Highly positive feedback from industry insiders

Stroll through Krakow’s old market square, and I guarantee a “catcher” will hit you with an eager, “Maybe a City Tour for You?”

A top-quality, bold, eye-catching design that demands attention. Flashy and engaging, it sparks curiosity, pulling tourists in and encouraging them to stop and learn more. This particular role belongs to the bright yellow front side of the board.

The Dragon of Wawel is a legendary symbol of Krakow. According to the legends, he once lived beneath Wawel Hill (where the Royal Castle stands) until he was outsmarted and fatally tricked by a weak, yet creative shoemaker. Moral? Ideas are power.
